My name is Sem Leutscher, I am a designer from the Netherlands. I graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Man & Leisure department, specializing in ceramics, design research and material research.

 

As a designer, I look for poetry in everyday things. Small bits which play a big role in human behaviour, stories, emotions or memories. I work from research in science, history or emotional values, trigger relations between people and objects and look for the beauty of the unnoticed.

As curious as I was as a child, fascinated by the details of nature, I still like to collect and explore. Create a visual language to express a story and challenge our current consumption society by looking for the small bits to tell a much bigger story.
